Thailand-based Dusit International has promoted
Simon Burgess to Assistant Vice President – Sales and Bobby Saw to
Assistant Vice President – Revenue.
In his new role, Simon will oversee the
company’s existing and upcoming Regional Sales Offices worldwide,
as well as day-to-day operations, such as audits and
sales reviews, of all properties under the Dusit brands.
Simon’s
involvement with Dusit began in 2001 when he was the Regional
Sales Director at the UK office. In 2005, he moved to Thailand to
take up the post of Executive Assistant Manager at the Dusit Thani
Hua Hin, before joining the corporate office in 2008 as Global
Sales Director.
“We are expanding our sales office network
to provide a stronger base to generate further business for our
hotels,” Simon said. “As new properties are launched, it is vital
we have a presence in emerging markets as well as being able to
leverage support from existing relationships in established
markets.”
Bobby Saw
has been promoted to Assistant Vice President – Revenue. Bobby joined
Dusit in 2007 as Corporate Director of Revenue Management. In his new capacity, Bobby is responsible for overseeing all property
audits, and driving total hotel revenue including Food & Beverage
