Wyndham Hotel Group has signed an agreement with
visual content and management company VFM Leonardo to use VScape
Premium, the company’s digital asset management platform, to
manage online photo distribution for the hotel group’s
approximately 7,190 hotels.
Using VScape Premium, Wyndham will
be able to distribute hotel photos via VNetwork, one of the
largest global networks of online sources used for travel
shopping. The network is able to provide photos to the four global
distribution systems,
Pegasus and travel-related channels
including online travel agencies, travel research and supplier web
sites, search portals and major travel intermediaries.
“As
the online landscape for hotels continues to evolve, so do the
demands of online travel shoppers who are increasingly seeking stronger, more engaging visual content,” said Linda Kent, Wyndham
Hotel Group senior vice president of electronic distribution. “Working with VFM Leonardo will help us meet that demand and
enable us to deliver the online experience that our users are
looking for.”
VFM Leonardo also offers services to further
enhance hotels’ online presence with video and other rich media
across traditional travel websites in VNetwork and social media
channels including Facebook. Wyndham Hotel Group properties can
now take advantage of VBrochure, the company’s online
merchandising system that enables hoteliers to syndicate and
display richer visual experiences to travel shoppers with video,
flash presentations, 360° virtual tours, additional photos and
text content within a large format multi-media viewer.
“We
are glad to be providing Wyndham Hotel Group with the tools the
company needs to manage and deliver hotel images to online sources
more efficiently and enable properties to further enhance their
online experiences with rich media,” said Paolo Boni, president
and CEO, VFM Leonardo. “We look forward to a positive and lasting
relationship.”
