Finnair is to add five flights per week to Hong
Kong, increasing the number of flights to 12 per week during the
summer traffic programme between 30 May and 9 October 2011.
The additional flights to Hong Kong will start
the same time as the airline launches daily flights to Singapore, on
30 May 2011.
Finnair
operates a total of 74 flights per week to Asia. Singapore will be Finnair’s tenth scheduled flight destination in Asia.
“Our Asian strategy is working well – the
addition of the flights and the new Singapore route reflects the
continual growth of via-travel directed towards Asia,” said Finnair’s Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing Mika Perho.
