FCm Travel Solutions has appointed Gregory
Lording as global brand leader.
Gregory officially steps into his
new role 1 April 2011 and is responsible for the growth of the FCm
brand globally, the forward direction of the global network as
well as the continued development of FCms global sales network,
account management and brand strategies.
Reporting
to Rob Flint, a member of Flight Centre Limiteds (FCL) global
executive team, Gregory will be based in Sydney and will work closely with the regional managers of FCms operations in Asia
Pacific, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Africa regions.
Gregory brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the
role after spending more than 25 years in the corporate travel
industry. He has held senior management positions with FCm
and parent company FCL for the past 10 years and most recently he
fulfilled the role of general manager production for FCLs event
specialist brand CiEvents.
Prior to this, Gregory
was based in the US where he spent three years as president of FCm
Americas managing FCms US and Latin America operations. His
experience in leading global operations also includes time spent
as the global leader for FCms entertainment travel and logistics
brand, Stage and Screen Travel Services.
Gregory
said he relished the challenge of taking on a leadership role for
one of the worlds fastest growing and globally recognised
corporate travel management companies.
