Garuda Indonesia has sign a contract with CAE
for two CAE 7000 Series Level D full-flight simulators (FFS) with
CAE TroposTM-6000 visual systems.
The FFSs will replicate the Airbus A330 and
Boeing 737NG aircraft, and will be ready for training by the end
of this year.
"Garuda Indonesia has been aggressively expanding
its network and services in recent years, and they require a
growing number of pilots," said Jeff Roberts, CAE’s Group President,
Civil Simulation Products, Training and Services. "These new
flight simulators will help them maintain pace with their growth
plans by providing the highest-quality training environment."
The airline is currently using CAE-built FFSs for the Boeing
737 Classic configuration and MD-11, as well as a CAE Simfinity
Integrated Procedures Trainer (IPT) for the Boeing 737NG and A330.
