CHI Hotels & Resorts (CHI) has opened the Ramada
Sharjah, the first Ramada branded hotel & suites property in the
Emirate of Sharjah. The hotel is owned by A.A. Al Moosa
Enterprises.
Located in Sharjah on Al Nahda street, opposite
the ever-popular Sahara Centre, the 250-suite hotel (50-one
bedroom and 200-two bedroom) features high-speed internet access,
a fully-equipped business centre, two meeting rooms, a pool and
health club, a ‘Jasmine’ coffee shop and ‘Zaafaran’, a restaurant
serving international cuisine.
In addition, the hotel’s central location and
easy connectivity to major roads and highways, puts all of Dubai
and Sharjah’s main attractions and major leisure nerve centres –
Sahara Centre, Sharjah Lagoon and Corniche, Deira City Centre and
Dubai International Airport within easy reach.
“In order to
compete effectively in the UAE’s booming hospitality sector, we
knew we would have to introduce a brand that wasn’t just different
or affordable, but one that truly understands the discerning
corporate and leisure traveler’s needs, namely proximity to
business hubs, in-room conveniences and connectivity,” said the
new hotel’s General Manager, Tamas Fazekas.
All of Ramada
Sharjah’s rooms, suites and apartments feature flat-screen TV,
wireless internet access, safety deposit box, room service, tea
and coffee making facilities, a washing machine, a fully-equipped
kitchen and a free daily newspaper.
In order to unwind,
guests can cross the road to visit one of the region’s most popular
shopping destinations, Sahara Centre, or have a work out at the
health club before taking a dip in the heated indoor pool.
