Worldhotels has welcomed its 21st frequent flyer
partner, India’s Kingfisher Airlines.
The partnership enables members of
Kingfisher Airlines’ frequent flyer program, King Club, to earn
from 500 miles per stay at participating Worldhotels properties
worldwide.
Founded in 2005, the
fast-growing carrier today operates one of the most extensive domestic
networks in India with 330 daily flights to 60 cities, flying over
a million passengers a year.
Eight international
routes link Delhi and Mumbai to London, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Dubai,
Dhaka, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Kathmandu.
With deliveries of new
aircrafts, Kingfisher plans to launch new long haul flights to cities in
Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and Oceania. It is currently
in the process of becoming a member of the Oneworld airline
alliance.
Kingfisher is part of the United
Breweries Group, one of India's largest conglomerates. It is also
the sponsor of F1 racing outfit, Force India.
“We are delighted to welcome Kingfisher
as our latest airline partner,” said Worldhotels Vice President
Asia Pacific, Roland Jegge. “Our extensive network of frequent
flyer programmes gives our hotels a significant competitive edge
and allows them to gain additional business from a highly
attractive target group. With Worldhotels, our properties have the
opportunity to award miles to their customers, which is a service
that independent hotels cannot usually offer.”
