Jetstar’s all day,
every day low fares from Singapore to Hangzhou start from Sin$198,
all-inclusive, one-way.
Hangzhou, a scenic city in the historical Zhejiang province,
is recognised as one of
the most desirable tourism spots in China, attracting some 2.7
million international visitors in 2010 and 45 million domestic
tourists.
“We have long set our sights on Hangzhou, guided by the potential
demand from both Singapore and Chinese travellers. Now travellers
can have a more affordable alternative, not just to Hangzhou, but
also to nearby Shanghai,” said Jetstar Asia CEO, Ms Chong Phit Lian. “Jetstar’s
strategy for China has consistently been to create new
direct-from-Singapore flights to Chinese cities that have high
tourism potential. Examples include Guilin, Shantou and, now,
Hangzhou. There’s no doubt our low fares will
attract new and repeat travellers not only from Singapore but from
other parts of the Jetstar network across the Asia Pacific to
visit these Chinese cities.”
For
passengers making the connection from Hangzhou to Shanghai city
centre, one-way bus tickets can be purchased on arrival at the
Hangzhou International Airport for just Sin$20.
