Best Western has opened the very first Best Western Plus hotel in Asia Pacific.

The Best Western Plus @20 Sukhumvit in Bangkok, Thailand, is located, as the name suggests, on Sukhumvit Soi 20, within walking distance of Sukhumvit Road itself and close to the Emporium shopping complex and bustling Asoke intersection.

The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from the Asoke Skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT underground stations, linking guests to more major commercial, shopping and entertainment areas such as Ratchaprasong, Siam, Pratunam and Silom.

The hotel’s 78 guestrooms are in Twin, Super King and Suite categories and feature state-of-the-art in-room entertainment, high quality amenities and well-equipped workspace.

Facilities at Best Western Plus @20 Sukhumvit include a rooftop Jacuzzi, concierge desk, business services, tour arrangements, valet parking, laundry and dry cleaning service, as well as a daily newspaper delivery service.

Close to the hotel is Benjasiri Park, which is ideal for jogging, and reflexology salons.

Diners are well catered to, with the casually elegant rooftop restaurant TropiKool serving breakfast and an international a la carte menu for lunch and dinner. Rewind Eatery & Bar is a relaxing street level cocktail lounge serving Tandoori specials.

“The new Best Western Plus is positioned toward a growing segment of trendy yet value-conscious travelers who are increasingly sophisticated and want hotels offering a lifestyle along with the traditional bed and breakfast element,” said Best Western International’s Vice President for Operations Asia and the Middle East Glenn de Souza. “Best Western Plus @20 Sukhumvit perfectly represents what the new Best Western Plus has to offer.”
