Cebu Pacific is to launch twice weekly flights
between Manila and Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, on 17 March
2012.
Flights for this route are scheduled to depart Manila at
22:30 every Tuesday and Saturday, arriving in Hanoi at 00:30.
Return flights will leave Hanoi at 01:00 every Wednesday and
Sunday, and arrive in Manila at 05:00.
CEB also operates daily
flights between Manila and Ho Chi Minh.
“This announcement
is very timely given the visit of Vietnam President Truong Tan
Sang to the Philippines last week. He wished then for more direct
flights between Manila and Hanoi. Cebu Pacific is more than happy
to oblige, to further promote trade and tourism between our two
countries,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.
“In 2010, Hanoi celebrated its 1000 year-old anniversary, making
it among the most ancient capitals in the world.”

3 to 7 November
2011 for travel from 17 March to 31 May 2012. Year-round fares to the Vietnam
capital start at P2,499.
