Diederik Pen (43) has been appointed managing
director of Martinair.
After completing a degree in Economics, Diederik
Pen began his career in the air transport industry at Amsterdam
Airport Schiphol. He subsequently held management posts at
Brisbane Airport and at Virgin Blue in Australia.
In 2006, Diederik Pen joined Martinair Holland.
As director of operations, he was part of the Martinair Management
Team and the Board of Managing Directors.
The appointment of Diederik Pen has the full
support of the Martinair Supervisory Board and Works Council.
Together with Rob Hougée, Director of Finance, he will form the
new Board of Managing Directors.
Mr. Pen succeeds Paul Gregorowitsch. Effective 1
September 2011,
Paul Gregorowitsch will be officially appointed
chief commercial officer at airberlin, where he will hold a seat
on the Executive Board.
