Deer Jet of Beijing, one of the largest VIP
charter providers in the People’s Republic of China, has taken
delivery of the first Airbus corporate jetliner, an ACJ319, that
it will dedicate to VIP charter flights, adding capacity to meet
growing demand at the top end of the market.
The new aircraft joins an Airbus A319 already
being used by Deer Jet to provide some charter flights, and will
be based in Beijing.
Deer Jet’s new Airbus ACJ319 features
a cabin designed and installed by the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre
in Toulouse. The cabin comprises a private office / bedroom with ensuite bathroom, including a shower, seats clustered around
tables, and several rows of first- class seats. It is certificated
to carry up to 28 passengers.
“Airbus’ ACJ319 has the most
comfort, space and freedom of movement of the many aircraft in our
large and growing business jet fleet, allowing us to meet demand
from larger groups, as well as clients that want the best,” said
Deer Jet Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Liu Kaihong. “We
continue to experience strong and growing demand for VIP charters,
as more and more people recognise the time savings, enhanced
productivity, and flexibility delivered by corporate jets such as
the Airbus ACJ319.”
