To celebrate the launch of American Airlines'
new flights between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and
Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), the airline is offering
low introductory fares and American Airlines AAdvantage bonus
miles to customers flying the new route.
For a limited time, customers can book travel
between Los Angeles and Shanghai for as low as US$378 each way,
based on the purchase of a round-trip ticket.
In addition, customers can earn up to triple
AAdvantage miles by flying on a purchased First Class or Business
Class fare, which adds up to more than 20,000 miles for a one-way
trip.
Customers who fly on a purchased Economy Class
fare can earn up to double AAdvantage miles. The bonus miles offer
is valid for travel between 5 April and 30 June 2011.
The Los Angeles to Shanghai route will enhance
American's customer service to China and its schedules at LAX,
which will boast more than 150 daily departures on American
Airlines and American Eagle beginning 5 April 2011.
