AirAsia X has launched flights between Kuala
Lumpur and Orly International airport in France.
The new service by AirAsia X will offer the
people of Paris and its surrounding regions four times weekly
flights to Kuala Lumpur, the gateway to South East Asia and
beyond.
In celebration of the first flight into Paris, AirAsia X
is offering promotional low fares across the AirAsia network. The airline is not just offering guests special
fares to Kuala Lumpur from as low as €229/RM679 (all in fare) one
way from Paris but also promotional fares via its new
“Fly Thru” services.
The new connecting “Fly Thru” services which
was recently introduced to facilitate a more convenient transit
process for connecting guests across selected destinations on the
AirAsia X and AirAsia network via its hub in Kuala Lumpur is also
offering promotional connecting fares one way from Paris to
Indonesia (Bali, Jakarta, Medan and Surabaya) with fares from as
low as €269, from €319 to China (Chengdu, Tianjin, Hangzhou),
from €329 to Taiwan(Taipei), from €249 to Singapore, from €279
to Thailand (Bangkok) and from €439 to New Zealand
(Christchurch).
Passengers who opt for this service no longer have to
clear immigration in Kuala Lumpur low cost carrier terminal, nor
go through the hassle of checking in their luggage twice in order
to connect to their onward destinations or worry about transit
visa applications. The fares for the above promotion are available
online for the booking until 20 February 2011 for the
travel period between 1 September to 10 November 2011.
To
add to this low fare promotion, AirAsia X is also offering point
to point low fares within the same booking and travel period for
those who prefer to travel to Kuala Lumpur and travel hop to an
onward destinations later across AirAsia’s network to Thailand
(Phuket), Vietnam (Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City), and Cambodia (Phnom
Penh). Fares from Kuala Lumpur to the above destinations are
offered from as low as €38 one way. Promotional seats are limited
and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Terms and

The new route will be serviced by the Airbus
A340 aircraft with 327 passenger capacity including 18 Premium
seats.
