Baros Maldives Appoints New Resort Manager

The boutique luxury resort, Baros Maldives - located just 20 minutes by boat from Male Airport - has appointed Sven Walter as Resort Manager.

With his own beginnings as a chef and a food and beverage manager, Sven has an in-depth understanding of guest requirements to his new role as Resort Manager.

His career within the hospitality industry has thus far seen him work in Europe, the USA and Canada, Africa and the Indian Ocean.

 Sven said, “Dedicated customer orientation is Baros’ main strength. I aim to enhance the tradition of Baros Maldives in exceeding the expectations of our guests. As team leader, I intend to focus on putting our guests right into the centre of our attention and efforts. Everything turns around them, every service we offer is personalized and targeted to exceed every expectation.”

Set on an exquisite tropical island hideaway, the intimate and elegant boutique resort has recently been awarded the Leading Indian Ocean Villa award for the fourth time, and voted The Indian Ocean’s Leading Hotel in 2010. In addition, earlier this year Baros Maldives was named as one of world’s Top Ten Luxury Hotels by Trip Advisor.
