Accor is expanding its already considerable network of
hotels in Indonesia with 21 new properties.
These new hotels will
be distributed throughout the archipelago and will add 4,526 new
rooms to Accor's Indonesian hotel network.
Today, the group operates
40 hotels in Indonesia and has previously announced a further 13
hotels which are in various stages of construction. With the
additional 21 new hotels, Accor has 34 new hotels committed to the
country.
Gerard Guillouet, Vice
President for Accor in Indonesia said, “Within this significant
expansion announcement for Indonesia are several notable
developments including; the first Pullman hotel for the capital
Jakarta and the four Formule1 hotels are signed with a single owner - PT Sunindo Indah Hotel. Additionally we are delighted with
the pace with which the all seasons brand has found traction in
the country, with four of the new hotels sporting this non
standardised economy hotel mark.”
During 2011, Accor will open 7
additional hotels, taking the network to 47 hotels by year end.
These hotels include; Pullman Jakarta Central Park, Mercure
Banjarmasin, Mercure Bali Kuta Harvestland, Mercure Padang, ibis
Bali Kuta, all seasons Bali Denpasar and, all seasons Yogyakarta.
Beyond this, an additional ten of the committed hotels will
open in 2012.
