[HD video below] Marriott is planning to open the Renaissance
Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive Apartments
Doha City Center, part of the Doha City Center Mall development
simultaneously in the second quarter of 2011.
Located in West Bay across Qatar Financial
Centre in two modern 48-storey towers, on the doorstep of the new
business district of Doha and 15 minutes from the Doha
International Airport, the hotel complex reinforces Doha’s
futuristic vision and growing potential of tourism in Qatar.
The three hotels offer a world-class vitality
health zone, a signature spa concept, as well as nine food and
beverage outlets in the West End entertainment zone.
Oliver Kahf, newly appointed General Manager of
the Renaissance Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott Executive
Apartments Doha City Center, said, “We are excited to introduce a
unique collection of Marriott International brands in Qatar,
emphasizing the growing importance of Doha as an emerging
destination. The Renaissance, Courtyard by Marriott and Marriott
Executive Apartments Doha City Center hotels are set to offer in
excess of 500 rooms and unique food and beverage options that are
sure to inspire travelers’ and diners’ sense of discovery. Our
unique Vitality Zone will help guests stay in shape while the Spa
offers the traditional Middle Eastern relaxation and beauty
treatments.”
The Renaissance Doha City Center will offer 257
rooms and suites, while the Courtyard by Marriott Doha City Center
has 204
guest rooms. The Marriott Executive
Apartments Doha City Center will have 123 serviced apartments.
The hotels’ podium area (from ground floor to level 7) is the
heart of the three hotels with meeting space, restaurants, bars,
gymnasium and spa.
