Singapore Airlines is to launch services to Sao
Paulo in Brazil on 28 March 2011, subject to regulatory approvals.
Flights will operate three times per week on a
Singapore - Barcelona - Sao Paulo routing. Spanair will be codesharing
on the flights.
Sao Paulo will be Singapore Airlines’
first South American destination. Boeing 777-300ER aircraft will
be used for the new services, featuring the airline’s latest
product offerings. These include a new First Class seat which
converts into one of the largest full-flat beds in the sky, a
30-inch-wide Business Class seat and all-new Economy Class seats.
Customers can also be entertained by more than
1000 on-demand options available on Singapore Airlines’
award-winning inflight entertainment system across all three
classes.
