American Airlines has relocated its sales and
marketing offices in Shanghai.
American's new office is located on
the 7th floor of Huaihai Plaza on Huaihai Zhong Road. It is a five
minute walk to both Line 1 and Line 10 Shanki Road South Stations.
The new Shanghai office houses 15
employees who are responsible for sales and marketing in China,
and work closely with JAL, which offers daily direct services
from Tokyo's Narita International Airport to Shanghai Pu Dong
International Airport, as well as between Haneda Airport in
downtown Tokyo and Shangahi Hongqiao International Airport.
"By locating our Shanghai office in Huaihai
Plaza, we will be able to work more closely with our oneworld
partner, Japan Airlines, (JAL). This will enhance our abilities to
work on the newly-implemented Pacific Joint Business that began on
April 1," said Victor Lee, American's Regional Director – Greater
China.
American flies nonstop once each day to Shanghai
from its cornerstone cities of Chicago and Los Angeles.
