Wolfgang M. Neumann (49) has been appointed as
Rezidors new Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer,
effective 9 May 2011. He succeeds Jacques Dubois who leaves the
company for personal reasons.
Wolfgang M. Neumann, who is Austrian, was
educated at Insead Management School (France), Cornell University
(USA) and Hotel & Tourism Management Institute Klessheim
(Austria).
He most recently served as the Chief Executive
Officer for Arabella Hospitality Group in Munich, Germany. Prior
to this position he spent over twenty years with Hilton
International and built his career from EAM and GM-positions at
Hilton hotels in Brussels, London, Paris and Frankfurt to Vice
President Western & Northern Europe, Senior Vice President Scandic/Nordic
Region, President UK & Ireland, and President, Hilton Europe &
Africa.
In his role as Rezidors Executive Vice
President & Chief Operating Officer Wolfgang M. Neumann will be
based in the Head Office in Brussels, Belgium, and report directly
to Kurt Ritter, President & CEO of Rezidor. He will also be a
member of Rezidors Executive Committee.
