Carlson has made the following three senior
appointments as part of its
Ambition 2015 growth strategy.
Lucinda Semark
has joined the company as executive vice president, revenue
generation, Carlson Hotels, Asia Pacific. Semark is an experienced
marketer who has held senior marketing and sales roles in the
hospitality and finance sectors. She is part of the regional
leadership team and will oversee the strategic management of the
marketing, public relations, revenue optimization and sales
functions.
Semark was previously senior vice president,
marketing at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore where she successfully
marketed the opening and establishment of the integrated resort,
comprising over 2,500 hotel rooms and a casino complex.
Deborah Peterson
has been appointed as director, human resources, Carlson Hotels,
Asia Pacific. She will drive the company’s human resources
strategy by creating talent management and recruitment capability.
Peterson previously headed a coaching and human capital
development consultancy. Her background includes regional human
resources management with an international hotel company and a
food and beverage company.
Malene Horup has
been promoted to director, talent, Carlson Hotels, Asia Pacific.
She will spearhead initiatives aimed at attracting, developing and
retaining talent. Her promotion reflects Carlson Hotels’ emphasis
on people development as the company continues to expand its
presence in Asia Pacific.
