Mandarin Oriental, Miami is celebrating its 10th
anniversary with the completion of an extensive renovation.
The
new enhancements include the redesign of its 295 guestrooms,
rejuvenated Oasis Beach Club and a newly renovated Presidential
Suite.
The guestrooms have
been refurbished by Atlanta-based designer
Jan Clausen and feature the latest in
technology including state-of-the-art audio visual equipment that
has been finely and stylishly integrated into the furniture wall.
Custom pillow shams, Anichini bed linens, and Oriental
lantern-inspired bedside and floor lamps are just a few of the
intricate décor details evoking understated elegance with Asian
accents. All guestrooms feature balconies overlooking Biscayne Bay
or the Miami skyline and are equipped with dual phone lines,
cordless phone, wireless high speed internet access, Bose sound
system, flat screen TVs, DVD players and iPod Sound Dock Music
System.
Oasis Beach Club offers a
variety of choices for guests while lounging and enjoying sun,
sand and sea. The new furnishings on the private beach resemble
the design palette in the hotel’s lobby with vibrant red and
orange colors and include chaise lounges, cocoon daybeds and
hammocks. The cabanas alongside the beach are spacious and provide total privacy,
they even boast flat-screen
TVs! The cabanas can be reserved on a half day or full day basis
and include bespoke butler services. Guests can also enjoy outdoor
beach massages from the extensive range available at the spa.
At night, the beach becomes a
magical destination lit by flickering lanterns with views of
Miami’s skyline. Alongside the beach is a stunning infinity-edge
swimming pool, Jacuzzi and 1.3 mile jogging path.
