Two of the most spectacular new hotels in Las
Vegas' groundbreaking CityCenter project have joined WORLDHOTELS.
The
All-suite hotel Aria Resort & Casino and the Vdara Hotel & Spa are
part of the newly-built US$8.5 billion and 1.67 million square
metre CityCenter, one of the largest privately-funded construction
projects in the history of the United States, on the gaming
capital’s famous Strip.
The larger hotel, the Aria
Resort & Casino, boasts 4,004 guestrooms, including 568 suites,
combining lavish accommodation with contemporary design by the
world-renowned Pelli Clarke Architects.
Facilities include a casino floor; 300,000 square
feet meeting and convention facilities; three pools; and an
80,000-square-foot, two-level spa with 62 individual spa treatment
rooms, eucalyptus steam rooms and red wood saunas, and
full-service salon including barbershop, deluxe fitness room,
group exercise studio, meditation and relaxation rooms.
Among 16 restaurants and ten bars and lounges and the Haze
nightclub are some of the world's most critically acclaimed
restaurateurs, with enticing new concepts from such chefs as
Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Michael Mina, Sirio Maccioni, Julian
Serrano and Masayoshi Takayama.
The neighbouring Vdara
Hotel & Spa, is an Internationally inspired all-suite hotel and spa
for those who love the excitement of Las Vegas but prefer to enjoy
it in an exclusive, non-gaming, smoke-free environment.
With 1,495 suites, it features contemporary interior
spaces with modern amenities and services, a rooftop pool and
lounge, wellness spa and the vibrant destination restaurant Silk
Road, created by award-winning, rising-star chef Martin Heierling.
Specialising in upscale executive meetings,
corporate and social functions for up to 400 guests, Vdara
features over 10,000 square feet of conference space with built-in
audiovisual systems with high-definition video projectors. The
rooftop pool and lounge provide a distinctive outdoor group venue.
“The
partnership strengthens our competitive ability in gambling and
entertainment hotels, with these premier venues in Las Vegas
complementing our growing portfolio of casino hotels in Australia
and Macau,” said Roland Jegge, Vice President of WORLDHOTELS Asia
Pacific. “This niche is an exciting attraction for both our
leisure travel and MICE market.”
Aria Resort &
Casino is offering an introductory offer for an upgrade to a
CityView room and a US$75 resort credit, with rates from US$149 a
night.
Introductory rates from US$129 a night are available at Vdara Hotel & Spa, with upgrade to a Premium View room and a US$50
resort credit.
Both offers are valid for a minimum stay of 2
