Wyndham Hotels and Resorts has opened the
231-room Wyndham Garden Atlanta Airport South. Located at 5010 Old
National Highway, the Wyndham Garden Atlanta Airport South is just
three miles from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International
Airport and minutes from downtown Atlanta. The former Clarion is
owned and operated by Fahim Shah of College Park-based Atlanta
Airport Hotel, LLC.
“We’re pleased to expand the Wyndham brand’s
footprint in the Atlanta market, especially in such a convenient
location for business travelers,” said Jeff Wagoner, president of
Wyndham Hotels and Resorts. “Travelers can also take advantage of
the brand’s innovative Wyndham ByRequest guest recognition program
to receive personalized, complimentary benefits.”
The Wyndham Garden Atlanta Airport South joins
the 211-room Wyndham Garden Hotel Atlanta Downtown on Piedmont
Avenue NE; the 250-room Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center on
Highway 54 West in Peachtree City; and ten other Wingate by
Wyndham and Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham affiliated hotels in the
Atlanta area.
The hotel offers 231 beautifully appointed guest
rooms featuring free high-speed Internet access, spacious work
desks with comfortable ergonomic chairs and flat-screen
televisions to suit both leisure and business travelers.
Additional amenities include upgraded mattresses with the Wyndham
brand’s signature Be WellTM bedding, Bath & Body Works® True Blue®
Spa bath care products, complimentary newspaper and coffee as well
as business class rooms.
The Wyndham Garden Atlanta Airport South is also
ideal for meeting and group events with eight newly renovated,
state-of the-art meeting rooms totaling 6,000 square feet and a
new ballroom comfortably accommodating up to 300 guests.
Dining options include Scarlett's Lounge &
Restaurant, specializing in Southern specialties and traditional
