Royal Caribbean International has unveiled its
2010/2011 sailings for another year-round deployment in Asia on
Legend of the Seas.
With a total of over 60 sailings including seven
new itineraries, the addition of destinations such as
Bali, Semarang and Lombok in Indonesia, Osaka, Aomori and Beppu in
Japan and Dalian in China as well as more overnight stays at
popular ports-of-call, travellers will be able to discover more of the region
than ever on Legend of the Seas.
Singapore Sailings
Legend of the Seas, currently in her North Asian
season, will be returning to Singapore from 22 November 2010 to
offer her three, four and five-night Southeast Asian cruises to
Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi in Malaysia as well as to Phuket
in Thailand. There will also be a six-night cruise in January 2011
which features an overnight stay in Phuket.
Royal Caribbean is also rolling out new
itineraries from Singapore in 2011 with attractive exotic
destinations such as:
- 2-night Weekend Cruise in January to Malacca,
Malaysia - 8-night Indonesia Cruise in February to Bali for an
overnight, Semarang and Lombok - 7-night Bali and Semarang
Cruise in February to Semarang and Bali for an overnight
Legend of the Seas will also embark on a 9-night
Exotic Asia Cruise thereafter from Singapore to Shanghai in March,
visiting Ho Chi Minh City and Hue / Danang in Vietnam, Hong Kong
and Xiamen in China.
Shanghai and Tianjin
Sailings
The ship will homeport in Shanghai and Tianjin
from March to October 2011 to offer multiple cruises to a variety
of Korean and Japanese destinations, with a total of almost 10
distinct itineraries of three nights onwards. These include:
- 5-night
Asian Legacies Cruise from Shanghai to Fukuoka, Japan; Busan and
Jeju Island, South Korea - 7-night Pearls of the Orient
Cruise from Shanghai to Osaka (overnight) and Fukuoka, Japan; Busan, South Korea
- 7-night Kyushu Explorer Cruise from
Shanghai to Kagoshima, Beppu and Fukuoka, Japan; Busan, South
Korea - 7-night Japan andKorea Cruise from Tianjin to
Nagasaki and Fukuoka, Japan; Jeju Island and Seoul, South Korea
There will also be new three and four-night short cruises for the
first time from Shanghai to Jeju Island and Fukuoka in April and
June which can cater well to first-time cruisers and corporate incentive groups.
Yokohama Sailings
The Yokohama season returns with a total of
seven sailings from April to May 2011 and in September
with highlights such as Vladivostok of Russia, Jeju Island and the
Shanghai overnight:
- 8-night Korea and China Cruise in April
calling at Osaka, Japan; Shanghai, China (overnight); Jeju Island
and Busan, South Korea
- 9-night Russia and Hokkaido Cruise
in May and September, one way from Yokohama to Shanghai visiting
Aomori and Otaru, Japan; Vladivostok, Russia; Busan and Jeju
Island, South Korea
- 7-night Shanghai to Yokohama Cruise in
April and 7 Night Tianjin to Yokohama Cruise in September, which
are one-way sailings visiting destinations such as Dalian, China;
Seoul, South Korea; Beppu and Nagoya, Japan.
Hong Kong Sailings
The Hong Kong season in October-November 2011 will be offering
seven sailings to a variety of attractive destinations in Taiwan
and Vietnam, namely:
- 5-night Gems of Asia Cruise to
Kaohsiung, Taichung and Taipei, Taiwan 5-night Indochina
Explorer Cruise to Sanya, China; Hue/Danang and Halong Bay,
Vietnam
The sailings also include the 7-night Exotic Asia
Cruise in November to Halong Bay, Hue/Danang, Ho Chi Minh City and
ending in Singapore.
Legend of the Seas
Onboard the 2,074-guest Legend of the
Seas, vacationers can look forward to entertainment
options such as as the brands signature 9m
rock-climbing wall and miniature golf course. In addition, one can
savor a wide variety of international cuisine
whilst enjoying the sea view from the two-tier glass-walled Romeo
and Juliet Dining Room, watch dazzling Broadway-style musicals in
the theatre, enjoy singing karaoke in the KTV room or relax in the
Solarium indoor pool with retractable glass roof. As for the
younger guests, they will be entertained by the Adventure Ocean
activities for multiple age groups. Most of all, virtually
everything is included in the price.
