China Airlines and Garuda Indonesia Sign Cooperation Agreement

China Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have signed a Memorandum of Cooperation that will allow the two carriers to expand cooperation in codesharing, operate Frequent Flyer Program, boost commercial cooperation for passenger and freight, and pilot simulator training programs.

China Airlines and Garuda Indonesia have a long history of cooperation dating back to 1991, when the two carriers began codesharing on their Taipei-Denpasar, Taipei-Jakarta and Taipei-Singapore-Surabaya routes, as well as implementing inter-line check-in services, a Special Prorate Agreement for passenger and cargo.

 Founded in 1949, Garuda Indonesia has been in successful operation for over six decades. It's the largest airline and national flag carrier of Indonesia.

China Airlines operates a fleet of 66 modern aircraft, and its high-quality global network serves 89 destinations in 29 countries.
