India’s Jet Airways is now offering special fares for the Indian Armed Forces and Paramilitary personnel.

As part of this scheme, all serving as well as retired defence and paramilitary personnel, and their families, may now avail of a 50% discount on base fares.

The special fares are for travel on the airline’s domestic network (including Jet Airways Konnect), as well as on the airline's codeshare flights with JetLite.

Mr. Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said, “These very special fares for our defence and paramilitary personnel and their families, is but a small way of expressing our gratitude for their selfless service and recognition of their immense contribution to society. We believe that these fares will help our defence personnel plan their personal travel in advance and help them re-connect with their friends and families easily.”

Under this scheme, it is mandatory for guests to carry their valid Identity Cards issued by the Indian Armed Forces as proof of identification throughout the journey. The offer is valid on certain travel classes and not valid for infants. Passenger service fee, relevant airport taxes and fuel surcharges will apply. Other terms and conditions apply.
