Ferrari World Abu Dhabi's soft opening period,
which has already seen thousands of families and fans through the
doors, will culminate in the much
anticipated Grand Opening ceremony, which will take place today, 30 November 2010.
“We’ve had an overwhelmingly
positive response from guests who have visited Ferrari World Abu
Dhabi. We always knew that Ferrari World Abu Dhabi would be a hit
with the public but attendance in the soft opening period has
surpassed all expectations,” said Claus Frimand, General
Manager Ferrari World Abu Dhabi.
The park will be closed to
the public today (30 November 2010) for the Grand Opening and will reopen
on 1 December 2010, in time for the National Day weekend
celebrations.
During its soft opening period, Ferrari
World Abu Dhabi also saw a number of high profile celebrity
visitors pass beneath its iconic red roof. Kanye West, Prince
Albert of Monaco, Jeremy Renner, the Jonas Brothers, Fernando
Alonso and Felipe Massa were just a few of the first people to
come and pay homage to the world’s first Ferrari theme park.
The park features 20 rides and attractions designed to bring
to life the Ferrari story as well as six food and beverage outlets
presided over by four Michelin starred chefs. It is one of the world’s
largest indoor theme parks.
