Marc Denton joins The Oberoi Mauritius as General Manager

Mr. Marc Denton has been appointed as General Manager of The Oberoi, Mauritius.

Mr. Denton’s experience in the hospitality industry spans across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Mauritius and Bora Bora.

Most recently, Mr. Denton was the General Manager of The Oberoi Rajvilas, Jaipur in Rajasthan India. Prior to this position in India, Mr. Denton served as the General Manager of The Oberoi Group’s luxury resort in Indonesia, The Oberoi, Lombok, and subsequently, The Oberoi, Bali.

The Oberoi, Mauritius is located in Turtle Bay on the North-West coast of Mauritius. Set in 20 acres of lush sub-tropical gardens with the majestic range of green mountains as a dramatic backdrop, the luxury resort offers six hundred metres of magnificent oceanfront and turquoise lagoon.

Accommodation includes 72 spacious Luxury Pavilions and Villas. Dining comprises of two restaurants that serve Continental, Oriental and Creole cuisine, and a bar.

Recreational options include two swimming pools, an Oberoi Spa, a fitness centre and two floodlit tennis courts.

Guests can also enjoy a range of water sports, including wind surfing, water skiing, snorkeling and sailing. The Oberoi also offers extensive meeting and conference facilities.
