Bangkok Airways has appointed Global Aviation
Services Pvt. Ltd as its General Sales Agent (GSA) for India.
Bangkok Airways will begin its Bangkok – Mumbai
service on 2 March and Bangkok – Dhaka on 27 March 2011.
Currently, Bangkok Airways flies to seven routes
in Thailand: Chiang Mai, Lampang, Sukhothai, Pattaya (U-Tapao),
Trat, Phuket, Samui and Krabi. It also flies to seven international routes: Hong
Kong, Singapore, Luang Prabang, Phnom Penh, Siem Reap, Yangon and
Maldives.
The airline's fleet consists of 17 aircrafts (8
ATRs, 3 Airbus A320s and 6 Airbus A319s).
