Brendan Daly Joins Aloft Bangkok - Sukhumvit 11 as GM

Brendan Daly has been appointed as general manager of the Aloft Bangkok - Sukhumvit 11. The first Aloft hotel in Southeast Asia, Aloft Bangkok - Sukhumvit 11 is scheduled to open in early 2011.

Daly brings close to 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry to his new position, most recently working on the pre-opening of Sofitel Bangkok, Sukhumvit. Daly’s prior positions include management roles at Sheraton On The Park, Sydney, Accor’s Darling Harbour Complex and Sofitel Riverside Chiang Mai.

Infused with the DNA of W Hotels, Aloft Bangkok - Sukhumvit 11 will offer 297 guestrooms, over 350 square meter of meeting space & pre-function area, Crave - an all day dining restaurant, re:fuel - grab ‘n go café, w xyz bar, re:charge fitness center and splash outdoor swimming pool.

The hotel will be centrally located in Sukhumvit Road and will provide travelers easy access to the commercial and entertainment districts of Bangkok.
