One thousand crew members of the Italian luxury
cruise ship, Costa Serena, were caught on camera with all hands on
deck to keep its 3,800 passengers happy in the latest documentary
on the National Geographic Channel.
Premiering on 2 March 2010 at
10pm on the National Geographic Channel, the six-part series of
Cruise Ship Dairies will expose life behind the scenes on one of
the largest ships of Costa Cruises.
Part of an award-winning green fleet, Costa
Serena is 290 metres long and has a gross tonnage of 114,500. The
sea giant has four pools, 14 guest decks and is stocked with
230,000 kilograms of food.
From the impassioned “Honeymoon Season”, to
“Inspectors On Board” to dramatic medical emergencies in “Magic
and Mayhem”. From managing overeager fans in “Rock Concert”, to
meeting expectations of demanding dancers in ”Dirty Dancing”, to
the “Final Countdown”... it is all on board and on view.
Cruise Ship Dairies will be broadcast
every Tuesday on the National Geographic Channel.
