The Philippe Starck-designed boutique hotel JIA
Hong Kong is celebrating the one year anniversary of its unique
Insider Access Card by offering all guests who stay at the hotel
between 1 September and 30 November 2010, a chance to win one of
two luxury prizes plus a complimentary night in a one-bedroom
suite so they can come to claim their prize in style and comfort.
Each night of every guest’s stay will be entered into the lucky
draw so the longer you stay the higher your chance to win. Prizes
include:
- A unique Bothos vegetan buffalo leather
trolley suitcase, worth HK$8,800.
- A
bespoke man’s suit from Moustache worth HK$8,500.
The JIA Insider Access Card gets guests a unique range
of complimentary perks and privileges at myriad venues around
town, which people would not normally enjoy as visitors to the
city - including happy hour drinks all night, access to exclusive
private clubs, complimentary wine and champagne, harbour cruises
on the aqua luna junk, cash coupons, gifts, and dining, shopping
and spa discounts.
The card is presented to guests on check-in at
the hotel and these special benefits are extended as long as they
are resident at JIA.
Among the partners for the
JIA Insider Access Card are: dragon-I, Halo, Volar and Kee private
members clubs; The Drawing Room, Bo Innovation, The Pawn, The
Press Room, aqua, Hutong, Café Deco and LKF group of restaurants
and bars. I.T. Jean Paul Gaultier, Maria Luisa, Rupert Sanderson,
7 for all Mankind and Furla are just some of the big name fashion
brands included in this special arrangement.
This year, JIA has
added many more participating venues to its Insider Access programme and included a new category ‘Hong Kong Highlights’,
drawing attention to unique brands, shops or individuals who
collaborate or combine local and international designers such as
G.O.D., SONJIA, Bothos, Moustache and others.
Yenn
Wong, the young Singaporean owner of JIA boutique hotels, being a
constant traveller herself, understands the value of privileges in
a city where you are not resident. “Since we launched the Insider
Access Card a year ago, our guests have truly appreciated this
special benefit. While travelling to new places, the trip is so
greatly enhanced when you are treated to a true insider’s
experience – it is fun, convenient, and allows you to enjoy a city
so much more,” said Yenn. “JIA means home in Mandarin and this is
the concept on which our hotels’ design and services are based.
Apart from ensuring our guests feel at home at JIA, we want their
experience when they are out and about on the town to be equally
so.”
Even before the launch of the Insider Access Card, JIA
became known for the many complimentary ‘extras’ to which their
guests are treated – complimentary breakfast, 24 hour soft
beverages, afternoon cakes, evening wine, broadband/wifi
throughout the hotel, local phone calls and more.
Room rack rates at JIA Hong Kong start from
HK$2,500 for a studio room, HK$ 3,500 for a one-bedroom suite and
HK$6,000 for the duplex Penthouse. Room rates are subject to
service charge and include all the complimentary extras mentioned
above.
