After suspending operations for the safety and
security of guests and employees, the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok
is set to reopen its doors on Wednesday, 26 May 2010, when it will
welcome all guests back to enjoy the hotels facilities and
services.
The hotel has been closed since 20 April 2010,
because of the increase in violence around the area, with the army
and protestors fighting.
Richard Greaves, the hotels general manager,
said, We have been working and will continue working with the
Rajprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA), the Tourism Authority
of Thailand (TAT), Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau
(TCEB) and other organisations to restore the confidence of both
local and international travellers to Bangkok.
