The Renaissance Phuket Resort and Spa opened
this week off Mai Khao beach in northern Phuket. The 180-room
resort opened under a long-term management agreement with Seacon
Hotels & Resorts Company, Limited with Jason Nuell as General
Manager and Joanne Chung as Director of Sales and Marketing.
Located adjacent to Sirinath Marine National Park, the Renaissance
Phuket Resort and Spa features an impressive 17 kilometer stretch
of unspoiled sandy beach. Colors incorporated in the hotel’s décor
are inspired by natural surroundings including the bright blue
waters of the Andaman Sea, the glistening white sands and the
vibrant colored coral reefs. The hotel has 150 deluxe rooms, four
one-bedroom suites, 25 one bedroom villas with private pools and
one oceanfront three bedroom villa.
In celebration of its
opening, the Renaissance Phuket Resort and Spa is offering an
introductory package for THB 5,555+++ (approximately $175) that
includes deluxe accommodations and complimentary American
breakfast for two adults. A villa package starts at THB 8,888+++
(approximately $275) and includes breakfast as well as free
internet. This offer is valid through 31 May 2010. Terms and
conditions apply.
The
Renaissance Phuket Resort and Spa offers five restaurants that
promise to satisfy every palate. Seakram serves up hot, sour,
salty and sweet dishes that make up Thai cuisine. Located directly
below Seakram is the Sand Box that offers a fun and cool daytime
hangout during the day and transforms into a contemporary bar and
barbecue restaurant in the evening. From lobsters to shrimps, fish
to crabs, Phuket is a haven for seafood and Loca Vore features an
exquisite menu that highlights these fresh resources. Warm and
inviting, the Lounge is located in the heart of the hotel and
offers quaint semi private spaces to conduct social or business
meetings while enjoying good food. Open all day, Doppio is a
modern and residential bake shop that offers deli items
accompanied by a variety of hot beverages offered in the
cosmopolitan Espresso and Leaf tea bar.
The resort offers numerous relaxing treatments
at the Quan spa that features soothing bath therapies, unwinding
massages and various other refreshing body treatments.
While parents are relaxing at Quan, children
can take advantage of the hotel’s kids club that offers video
games, reading corners and activity centers. Babysitting services
are also available for families with infants. A fully equipped
fitness center has modern cardio machines and free weights along
with several fitness classes for those who enjoy an active
lifestyle.
