Travelport has signed a new, multi-year
agreement with Trailfinders for its use of the Galileo platform.
Trailfinders specialises in customised travel packages to
worldwide destinations and through the agreement, customers in the
UK, Ireland and Australia will continue to benefit from a wide
range of flight and other travel content provided by Travelport.
Trailfinders managing director, Tony Russell
said, “We are pleased to renew our relationship with Travelport -
an association which goes back for more than 20 years. The GDS
tender process is one of the most important decisions we have to
make, being so critical to the future success of our business. The
decision this time round took on an even greater resonance, with
the process being conducted in a particularly challenging and
competitive environment. We have been convinced yet again that our
interests are best served in staying with Travelport for a further
term.”
Trailfinders was founded 40 years ago and is a
member of travel associations IATA and ABTA and is also ATOL
protected.
