Not sure what to do this coming weekend 25 - 28
March 2010? Why not head to Pak Nam Pran beach which is around 20
minutes south of Hua Hin by car, and enjoy a luxurious stay at the
Evason Hua Hin and Six Senses Spa from just THB 2,500 nett
(inclusive of tax and service charge) per room per night.
Not only will you be able to enjoy the fine
cuisine and outstanding spa facilities at the hotel, but you will
also be able to witness the Grand Final of the Kiteboard Tour Asia
2010 which is taking place right on the beach outside the Evason.
Competitors from 22 countries will be taking part - which if you
also kiteboard, is still open for registration.
Organisers of the event expect a couple of
hundred to attend and watch the fun, which will also include some
cultural entertainment as well as a big party - with a top DJ from
the famous Full Moon Party - that will run into the early hours at
the end of the last day.
On Sunday, 21 March 2010, TravelNewsAsia.com
sat with Willy Kerr, Event Manager - Kiteboard Asia, to ask him
how this event will differ from the
Hua Hin Kiteboarding World Cup 2010 which took place at the
InterContinental Hua Hin between 13 and 20 March 2010, and what
visitors to Pak Nam Pran beach, and indeed the luxurious Evason
Hua Hin, can expect.
Not too sure what the Kiteboard Tour Asia is all
about? Nor which countries in Asia they visit, or what their
expansion plans are, or when the next season will begin? On Sunday
we posed these questions and others to Neil Godbold - Tour Organiser,
Kiteboard Tour Asia.
Even if you are not interested in Kiteboarding,
heading to Pak Nam Pran to enjoy the resort for just 2,500 Baht
nett makes the trip worthwhile, as normally rates for this hotel
are much higher.
