The 400-room Fullerton Hotel Singapore has
appointed Mr Giovanni Viterale as General Manager. Despite being
an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience, this will be his first foray in Singapore.
Mr Viterale is
responsible for the strategic direction of The Fullerton Hotel
Singapore, The Fullerton Heritage as well as the new The Fullerton
Bay Hotel.
Prior to this
appointment, Mr Viterale was with the Conrad Hong Kong for
more than 10 years and subsequently cumulating as the Resident
Manager of the hotel since 2006. Born and raised in Salerno, Amalfi Coast South-West of Italy, Mr Viterale’s early hospitality
career focused on the area of food and beverage including 7 years
in Hong Kong where he further gained his management philosophies.
For leisure, Mr Giovanni Viterale enjoys
travelling as well as outdoor sports such as tennis and swimming.
An avid collector of cufflinks, he has an extensive
assembly that was collected throughout the years from his numerous
trips. Apart from English and his Italian mother
tongue, he also speaks French and is able to understand Cantonese,
having lived in Hong Kong for many years.

Singapore Club and the Chamber of Commerce, The Fullerton Hotel
