Executive Appointments @ Marco Polo Hotels

Marco Polo Hotels has appointed Mr Hubert Aw as Group Director of Rooms and Mr Andrew Lau as Director of Revenue Management and Distribution.

Mr Aw has extensive experience in rooms division having held senior operations positions in the Philippines and Hong Kong with the Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts. In his new position, he will work closely with Mr Andre Scholl, Vice President, Group Operations in assisting, overseeing and implementing new initiatives within the Front Office and Housekeeping Departments of Marco Polo hotels.

Mr Lau has extensive knowledge and experience in reservations, marketing and revenue management. He joins Marco Polo from his role as Director of Reservations and Revenue of The Upper House of Swire Hotels. Prior to that, he was with the Mandarin Oriental and Island Shangri-La in Hong Kong. In his new position, he is responsible for strategically coordinating the revenue management processes and procedures for all Marco Polo hotels; he will report to Mr Simon Pearson, Vice President, Marketing and Business Development.
