The “Macau Electronic Dance Music Festival 2010:
Global Underground Asia Tour” will be performed at the CotaiExpo
Hall D of The Venetian Macau on 14 August 2010 (10:00pm – 6:00am).
Tickets went on sale today, 22 July at 10:00 am local time.
The Macau Electronic Dance Music Festival at The
Venetian Macau is one of the first biggest indoor all night dance
events in China with a capacity of over 4,000 party goers,
providing a variety of Electronic Dance Music for the night.
Featuring DJs: Lange (DJ Mag World No. 31),
Trafik and Mashtronic (from Global Underground), David Lam (from
Kaleidoscope Sound System HK), Frankie Lam (from Intermix HK) and
Niki Leung (from Lego Productions HK) as well as VJ Donkie will
provide dazzling visual effects for the event.
Ranked 31 in the world (2009 DJ Mag Top
100 Poll), Lange is recognized as one of the most influential
dance artists of the past decade. A DJ who has remained at the
forefront of the scene throughout his career and a producer that
continues to push all boundaries. After an exhausting list of
achievements, featuring on a film soundtrack and remixing
mainstream artists such as the Pet Shop Boys, Lange remains one of
the leading EDM producers. His modern day anthem "Out of the Sky"
catapulted to the top of the trance charts, making him one of the
top selling trance artists in 2008.
Trafik is an English progressive house duo consisting of Andrew
Archer and John Elliott. They have released two studio albums and
several singles on Global Underground. They also performed remixes
for labels including Lost Language, Audio Therapy, Proton Music,
as well as the mix work on GU10 among other Global Underground
releases. Their tracks have featured in TV shows like CSI: NY and
CSI: Miami, and the Nike-developed exercise games EyeToy: Kinetic
and EyeToy: Kinetic Combat. Trafik have just released their third
studio album “None But the Brave” on 21 June 2010.
Over the past 4 years, the name of Mashtronic
has been circulating discos and clubs. Mathias Bradler (Bradler)
and Henri Hurtig (Cid Inc), both born in the same year 1976, have
proved that a collaboration through the internet works as good as
it would be sitting beside each other in a studio. The success
with the releases has taken them DJing on venues all over the
world, from South America, across Europe to Australia. In 2007
they were part of the massive Global Underground world tour.
Tickets cost HK$/MOP $350 at
the door. When packaged with round trip CotaiJet ferry tickets
between Hong Kong and Macau the price is HK$/MOP $438. Tickets are
also available in advance from Sands Macau Hotel Lobby and
CotaiArena Box Office.
