Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts will add Bonus
Options to its Signature Events programme on 1 July 2010.
This corporate meetings, incentives,
conferences and exhibitions (MICE) initiative was designed to
deliver one streamlined, efficient and user-friendly package.
Taking into consideration changing market needs, the enhanced
offer will provide an even wider choice and greater flexibility of
key benefits important to meeting planners.
For bookings of 25 - 39 guestrooms the meeting
organiser can select three Bonus Options from the following:
- One complimentary guestroom upgrade for the
event organiser - One complimentary round-trip airport transfer
- Complimentary usage of an LCD projector with two wireless
microphones - Complimentary coffee, tea and soft drinks
throughout the event for up to 40 people - A 15% reduction on
the hire of in-house audio-visual equipment - A 25% reduction
on all business centre services
For bookings of 40 or more guestrooms, the
meeting organiser can choose a total of four Bonus Options from
the above and the following services:
- Up to two complimentary guestrooms for the
event organiser per event - Two complimentary round-trip
airport transfers - One complimentary welcome cocktail with
one-hour standard open bar for up to 40 people - A 10% credit
on the next event booked at any Shangri-La or Traders hotel or
resort. (terms and conditions apply)
As part of the Signature Events initiative,
Shangri-La pledges to produce written proposals within six working
hours of receiving a request. Dedicated audio-visual technicians
provide technical support throughout the meeting while designated
event experts in all hotel departments work behind the scene to
ensure a successful event.
In addition, taking advantage of today's
technology, meeting attendees can now book their rooms directly
online via a dedicated web-booking engine and/or designated group
code.
Shangri-La provides complimentary broadband internet access in all
its guestrooms and function areas.
Signature Events is the result of an in-depth
research project involving meeting planner focus groups and task
forces made up of senior events managers and Shangri-La corporate
executives from marketing, food and beverage, rooms and finance
divisions.
