ANA is to increase the frequency of flights on
its Narita-New York route by launching a double-daily service on
Saturdays during the January to March 2011 period.
Currently, ANA
flies once a day between the two cities at the weekend with the
new Boeing 777-300ER model configured to carry 215 passengers in
three classes - First, Business and Economy.
The increase in frequency is in response to
strong passenger demand for more weekend flights to New York.
Commenting on the increase, an ANA spokesman
said, "The introduction of a double-daily service at
the weekend will provide more options and convenience for weekend
travelers and we are confident customers will take advantage of
this improved service."
