New Country Manager for Travelport Malaysia

Mr. Jason Ong has been appointed as Country Manager for Travelport Malaysia.

 Jason Ong takes over the role from Chung-Chin Lee, who will leave the company at the end of this year, following nearly three years in the role.

Ong has a background in technology, travel and business solutions in Malaysia and across the Asia Pacific region. For the past five years, Ong has been employed at the Kuala Lumpur headquarters of Getronics Solutions, specialists in Information and Communication Technology (ICT). In his role as Regional Alliance Manager, Dell Alliance Asia Pacific Japan, Ong was responsible for sales and business development activities within the region while strategically planning, developing and maintaining relationships with Dell stakeholders across all levels.

Ong has also worked in sales, product and customer service roles for NCR (Malaysia), Ericsson Global IT services (Asia Pacific), Dell Asia Pacific and IB Systems.

In his new appointment, Ong will report to Hui Wan Chua, Regional Director for South East Asia, Travelport.
