The Asia Cruise Association (ACA) has welcomed the Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal (SIPG) as a new member.

This latest addition to ACA, which is led by cruise lines Azamara Club Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Costa Cruises, Cunard, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Silversea Cruises and Star Cruises, is an added boost to the associations membership drive.

Mr Wang Chi, General Manager of Shanghai Port International Cruise Terminal said, As a largest seaport in China and also a gateway for many international cruise lines, SIPG aims to work closely with ACA to develop itself to become a world class cruise terminal that meets the growing needs of the cruise industry. It is a good start and opportune for SIPG to be associated with ACA, especially during this accelerated phase of growth in the cruise industry. We see plenty of opportunities in working with ACA to make SIPG an attractive port destination with world class facilities and services to support the cruise lines development of enticing cruise itineraries.

The ACA is currently inviting all cruise industry stakeholders to join the association as members. Its ordinary membership is for firms or corporations that operate cruise lines in the Asia region, and its associate membership is for businesses or corporations such as tourism boards, cruise terminals operators, ground handlers, ship chandlers and suppliers, ship services and repair, port authorities, port agents, and travel agents.
