KOP Hotels & Resorts has recruited five new
executives to steer the management of its subsidiaries – Franklyn
Hotels & Resorts, Montigo Resorts, Luxury Lifestyle Hotels &
Resorts and Aqua Voyage.
Headquartered in Singapore, KOP H&R has a
portfolio of boutique properties in Europe and is in the process
of developing projects in China, Indonesia and the United States.
The new team will be based
in KOP Hotels & Resorts Singapore headquarters. Joining the KOP
H&R team are:
Sunshine Wong - Vice President, Operations
Sunshine has over 30 years of hospitality management experience.
He was most recently Project Director of Kosmopolito Hotels International. Prior to that, he held several senior management
positions with the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) including a consultancy assignment for Crowne Plaza Hong Kong, Hotel Manager
at InterContinental Hong Kong, General Manager at the Holiday Inn Hotels & Resorts in Singapore, Batam, Sanya and Benoa; and Area
Director of Sales and Marketing at IHG for Singapore, Cambodia and Batam. Before joining IHG, Sunshine also held senior positions
with Raffles, Millennium & Copthorne and Hyatt. Mr. Wong is a
Hotel Administration Graduate from the University of Nevada, Las
Vegas.
Anton Kilayko - Vice President, Marketing and Brand
Development
Anton joins KOP H&R from Dusit International where
he was Corporate Brand Director overseeing the concept development
and strategic positioning of Dusit Devarana, and dusitD2 hotels
and resorts. With over 12 years of experience, he started his
career with The Ritz-Carlton where he gained management knowledge
in several divisions including Rooms, F&B, Conference Services and
Sales and Marketing in Mexico and Singapore. Mr. Kilayko was
Director of Public Relations and Marketing Communications at The
Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore before joining Orient-Express as
Director of Sales and Marketing of its train and cruise portfolio
in Asia. Mr. Kilayko is a graduate of Hotel Management School Les Roches in Switzerland.
Killian Patrick Donoghue - Regional
Director, Sales, Asia Pacific
Killian was recently Director of
Sales and Marketing of Marriott Thailand’s three properties – the
JW Marriott Bangkok, Renaissance Koh Samui and the Courtyard
by Marriott, Bangkok. With extensive knowledge in corporate sales,
MICE, media, advertising and partnerships, Mr. Donoghue will be
responsible for all sales activities in Asia. He began his career
as Sales Manager for the Marriott Hotel in Hamburg, Germany. He
speaks fluent German and English, and has a basic knowledge of
French and Thai.
Stacey Teo - Group Executive Chef
Stacey
brings a wealth of culinary experience to KOP H&R from
award-winning establishments such as One & Only Royal Mirage,
Dubai, The Raffles Hotel Singapore and The Park Hyatt Melbourne.
She was most recently Executive Sous Chef at the Grand Hyatt
Guangzhou in China. Prior to that, Ms. Teo was also Executive Sous
Chef at the 834-room Excelsior Hotel in Hong Kong where she ran
the culinary operation of seven restaurants and a large banquet
facility. She began her career with the Dynasty Hotel (now
Marriott) in Singapore. A Grand Diplôme holder from Le Cordon
Bleu, she completed her culinary training and education in Paris
and Toulouse, France.
Andria Tan - Senior Manager, Procurement
Andria joins KOP H&R from Club Med Asie S.A. where she was
Purchasing Manager for Operations and Food & Beverage. Prior to
that, she was a professional quantity surveyor for some of
Singapore’s leading contractors and consultants such as Davis
Langdon & Seah Singapore, Takashimaya Co. Ltd. and Shimizu
Corporation. Ms. Tan holds a degree in Building Economics and
Quantity Surveying from the Heriot-Watt University of Edinburgh,
Scotland.
