Abacus launches Enhanced TicketingExpress

Travel News Asia Latest Travel News Podcasts Videos Tuesday, 15 June 2010

Abacus has released an enhanced version of TicketingExpress, an automated pricing and ticketing solution that allows travel agencies to simplify ticketing processes, as well as minimise the processing time and inaccuracies sometimes made due to manual entry.

Abacus TicketingExpress automates pricing through Auto Pricing which is a part of the fulfilment process that supports both net and published fares and is fully integrated with Abacus PowerSuite or any independent mid and back-office system. This streamlines a travel agent’s entire workflow by saving time on ticket issuance while improving customer service through an email notification to the customer on his/her personalised travel itinerary via Abacus VirtuallyThere.

The solution is hosted and entirely managed by Abacus and is administered through the browser eliminating the need for specific hardware and software.

“Abacus TicketingExpress complements the other Abacus solutions we have implemented such as Abacus FareX and Abacus SmartPrice, streamlining our ticketing procedure. We look forward to the time saved from the improved work efficiencies and to redeploy our resources to focus on selling and generating revenue,” said Mr. Davy Batubara, Chief Operation Officer, P.T. Smailing Tours & Travel Services.
