The 501-room Shanghai Marriott Hotel Changfeng
Park has opened its doors to guests. Located in the Changfeng
Ecology Commercial District, the 32-storey hotel faces the
picturesque Changfeng Park and overlooks Suzhou River. Adjacent to
the Hongqiao CBD, it is only a15-minute drive from Hongqiao
Airport and a 50-minute drive from Pudong International Airport.
Guest rooms feature plush
bedding, bathrobes, flat screen television, ergonomic chairs,
high speed internet and a well lit full-sized desk. The executive
lounge is located on the 31st floor and boasts a panoramic view of
the scenic Changfeng Park and Suzhou River.
The hotel also offers seven restaurants and bars featuring
international cuisine and local favorites. Pearl highlights
dishes from the Pearl River Delta region and has
eight private rooms for a more personal dining experience. Sakitori serves up traditional yet contemporary Japanese cuisine
for lunch and dinner while Park Café serves all day dining and
three-meal buffet featuring south Asian, western and Chinese
cuisine. Java+ provides freshly baked breads and pastries as well
as an extensive selection of home-made chocolates. Panorama opens
for lunch and offers simple yet tasty sandwiches and light snacks
while serving drinks and tapas from early evening till late night.
DÔME is a stylish wine bar in the basement featuring a variety of
fine red wines.
The Shanghai Marriott Hotel Changfeng Park has a
fully equipped fitness center comprised of the latest cardio
machines, strength training gear, free weights and a 25-meter
indoor swimming pool. Guests can also experience the Quan Spa, where they
can be
rejuvenated by hydrotherapeutic treatments and massages using pure
essential oils and natural fruit extracts.
Furnished with
the newest audio and visual equipment, the hotel offers more than 1,500
square meters of flexible space, consisting of 13 function rooms
and a ballroom of almost 770 square meters for gatherings of up to
700 guests.
In celebration of its opening, the
hotel is offering an introductory rate starting at RMB 1,300 per
room per night. Guests are also given a choice of one special
service, including round trip airport transfer, dinner for two,
free massage, free room upgrade or 10,000 Marriott Reward points.
The promotion is valid for stays with a minimum of two nights and
expires in April 2010.
