THAI and TAT have jointly invited over 500 travel agents and journalists from around the world to Thailand as part of a Mega Fam trip to showcase some of Thailand’s best tourism destinations and products. The event was organized as part the 50th anniversary celebrations of THAI and TAT.

A “Thailand Today” welcome reception was held at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Center, chaired by H.E. Mr. Chumphol Silpa-archa, Thailand’s Minister of Tourism and Sports. Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI’s President and Mr. Suraphon Svetasreni, TAT’s Governor also attended the reception and welcomed guests and delegates from overseas.

Mr. Piyasvasti Amranand, THAI’s President, said that the THAI-TAT “Thailand Today” cooperative effort aims to boost tourism and air travel to and from Thailand on a global scale.
