Tourism Vancouver has confirmed its new
15-member Board of Directors for 2010/2011.
Tourism Vancouvers new board represents a
broad cross-section of tourism sectors, but all members share a
commitment to contributing their wealth of knowledge to strengthen
and further improve Vancouvers tourism industry, said new chair,
James E. Terry, executive vice president of Rocky Mountaineer.
Tourism Vancouvers board is responsible for
ensuring that the organizations business and market development
plans, along with corresponding financial plans, are developed,
endorsed and monitored. The board also deals with policy issues.
