President & CEO of Silversea Cruises Resigns

The President & CEO of Silversea Cruises - Amerigo Perass - has resigned after 13 years of dedicated service. A replacement is yet to be announced.

Amerigo, a lawyer by training, joined Silversea in 1997 as legal counsel and developed over the years, moving to financial responsibilities where he eventually covered the role of CFO, and taking over the role of President & CEO in 2007.

Silversea Cruises offers guests large-ship amenities aboard its intimate, luxurious all-suite vessels: Silver Cloud, Silver Wind, Silver Shadow, Silver Whisper and Silver Spirit. With the inclusion of the expedition ship Prince Albert II, the company's itineraries encompass all seven continents.
